Chancel HRT has successfully constructed over 400 multi-family units. We have built a knowledge base that makes us formidable in the multi-family industry. From South Carolina and beyond, Chancel’s experience runs from the complete gamut of high- mid-, and low-rise rental properties, government-subsidized housing, senior housing, and condominiums. Creating a residential complex is more than building units. It is blending multiple components – housing, amenities, parking, and often retail and services – into a cohesive community that is comfortable and inviting. We have the know-how to bring these elements together.
Chancel began in August of 2005 as a multi-family contractor. Our first project was a five (5) building, 3 story each, 100 unit multi-family project ranging in size from a lock-out (like motel room) unit to a three bedroom/three bathroom unit. A total of 130,000 heated square feet with each building having an elevator.
Upon completing the World Tour project we began building three story live/work units, two story and three story townhouses for Dockstreet Communities at St. James and Market Common in Myrtle Beach, SC. The three story live/work units were configured with the business on the first floor including a bathroom and storage room. The living room, kitchen, half bath and utility room are on the second floor with the bedrooms (2 and 3) and 2 full baths on the third floor. The two story townhouses were set up with the living room, dining area, kitchen, pantry and half bath on the first floor with utility room and bedrooms (2 and 3) with two full baths on the second floor. Each unit had a detached garage.
After a short time, we began building three story townhouses to meet the demand in the Market Common area. The only change from the live/work units was a garage, full bath and office area on the first floor instead of a work area. Many of these units also included personal elevators.
The City Club, another multi-family project Chancel built in Columbia, SC. The City Club is a state-of-the-art luxury townhouse gated community. Each unit consists of over 3,000 heated square feet on four floors, its own private elevator, two car garage and balconies on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. The community’s amenities includes a Nautilus fitness center, pool, common room, and putting green.
Gleneagles, located in the popular Legends Golf Resort area, consists of four buildings containing four up-scale two story townhouses in each of three buildings and three townhouses in the fourth building. Each unit has a master bedroom and bathroom on both floors with a screened porch on the first floor and a screened balcony on the second floor. The first floor also has a second bedroom and full bath with kitchen, living room, dining room and utility room with an attached garage.
